S.Amdt.2177 - To provide housing for teachers, administrators, and other school staff in remote areas of Alaska since such housing is often extremely substandard, if it is even available at all, and rural school districts in Alaska are facing increased challenges, including meeting the mandates of the No Child Left Behind Act, and in recruiting and retaining employees due to a lack of housing units.
