H.Amdt.522 - Amendment in the nature of a substitute sought to exempt married households with incomes under $250,000 from the alternative minimum tax; pay for such tax relief by placing restrictions on certain tax shelters; and require the Secretary of the Treasury to make detailed legislative recommendations to Congress designed to reform the alternative minimum tax.
