H.Amdt.288 - At the end of the bill, insert after the last section (preceding the short title) the following: \ TITLE VIII--ADDITIONAL GENERAL PROVISIONS \ SEC. __. None of the funds made available in this Act for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program under the heading "DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE--OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS--STATE AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE" may be used in contravention of section 642(a) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (8 U.S.C. 1373).
