H.Amdt.1031 - Amendment required the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating to study, within 180 days of enactment, the role of state and local law enforcement in augmenting Coast Guard resources by enforcing Coast Guard-imposed security zones around vessels transiting to, through, or from U.S. ports and conducting port security patrols.
