H.Amdt.1056 - Amendment created a joint Department of Defense/Department of State program for the purpose of hiring Iraqis (who supported the U.S. efforts in Iraq and have resettled in the U.S.) as interpreters, translators, and cultural awareness instructors for various agencies of the Federal government and to increase awareness of the existence of the program.
