H.Amdt.1073 - Amendment requires a local educational agency to use American steel and iron for modernization, renovation, or repair projects at a public school facility. The amendment provides waivers if iron and steel are not produced in the U.S. in sufficient and reasonably available quantities and if iron and steel produced in the U.S. will increase the cost of the overall project by more than 25 percent.
