H.Amdt.1159 - Amendment prohibited use of funds in the bill to enforce section 526 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Section 526 provided that no federal agencies shall enter into a contract for procurement of an alternative fuel if the "life cycle greenhouse gas emissions" are less or equal to such emissions from an equivalent conventional fuel produced from conventional petroleum sources.
