H.Amdt.165 - Amendment, as offered, requires TSA to establish protocols for identity verification of individuals who travel with known air traveler credentials. As modified, (text appears on page H6199 of the Congressional Record) the amendment provides for alternative screening procedures for individuals with top security clearances including random, risk-based screening determined to be necessary to respond to a specific threat to security.
