H.Amdt.328 - Amendment allows national security laboratories to dedicate an additional 1% (for a total of 7%) of each lab's annual budget to Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD). LDRD allows laboratories to pursue high-risk, high-reward research and develop innovative technologies to support energy and homeland security priorities.
