H.Amdt.1117 - Amendment expands the protections under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) to include servicemembers serving in a contingency operation, surviving spouses of servicemembers whose deaths are service-connected, and veterans who are totally disabled at the time of discharge and repeals the sunset provision that is set to expire at the end of this year and increase fines for violations of the SCRA.
