(a) Paragraphs (2), (3), and (5) of section 101(a) of the War Hazards Compensation Act, as amended (56 Stat. 1028; 42 U.S.C. 1701 and the following), are amended by striking out ‘or in Alaska or the Canal Zone’.
“(b) Section 104 of that Act [42 U.S.C. 1704] is amended by adding the following new subsection at the end thereof:“ ‘(c) The provisions of this section shall not apply with respect to benefits on account of any injury or death occurring within any State.’
“(c) Section 201 of that Act [42 U.S.C. 1711] is amended by adding the following new subsection at the end thereof:“ ‘(f) the term “continental United States” means the States and the District of Columbia.’
