“(a) Review.—Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act [July 15, 2016] and annually thereafter, the Administrator, in consultation with the appropriate regulated entities, shall conduct a comprehensive review of every current security directive addressed to any regulated entity to—“(1) determine whether each such security directive continues to be relevant;
“(2) determine whether such security directives should be streamlined or consolidated to most efficiently maximize risk reduction; and
“(3) update, consolidate, or revoke any security directive as necessary.
“(b) Notice.—For each security directive that the Administrator issues, the Administrator shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees notice of—“(1) the extent to which each such security directive responds to a specific threat, security threat assessment, or emergency situation against civil aviation; and
“(2) when it is anticipated that each such security directive will expire.
