The cost of inspection rendered on and after July 1, 1948, under the requirements of laws relating to Federal inspection of meat and meat food products shall be borne by the United States except the cost of overtime and holiday pay paid pursuant to section 2219a of title 7. Codification Section was formerly classified to section 98 of this title. Section was not enacted as part of the Federal Meat Inspection Act which is classified to subchapters I to IV–A of this chapter. Amendments2002—Pub. L. 107–171 substituted “overtime and holiday pay paid pursuant to section 2219a of title 7.” for “overtime pursuant to section 394 of title 7.”
