Editorial Notes Codification Section, act May 19, 1947, ch. 80, § 1, 61 Stat. 102, which directed the Secretary of the Interior to divide the trust funds on deposit in the Treasury of the United States to the joint credit of the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Reservation, was omitted from the Code as being of special and not general application. Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries Wind River Indian Reservation; Compensation for Lands of the Riverton Reclamation ProjectAct Aug. 15, 1953, ch. 509, § 2, 67 Stat. 612, which provided that, subject only to the existing rights and interests which were not extinguished and terminated by act Aug. 15, 1953, ch. 509, 67 Stat. 592, all unentered and vacant lands of the Riverton reclamation project within the ceded portion of the Wind River Indian Reservation were restored to the public domain for administration, use, occupancy, and disposal under the reclamation and public land laws of the United States, was editorially reclassified and is set out as a note under section 597 of Title 43, Public Lands.
