Compensation for stenographic assistance of committees paid out of the items under “Contingent Expenses of the Senate” on and after June 27, 1956 shall be computed at such rates and in accordance with such regulations as may be prescribed by the Committee on Rules and Administration, notwithstanding, and without regard to any other provision of law. (June 27, 1956, ch. 453, 70 Stat. 360.) Editorial Notes Codification Section was formerly classified to section 68c of this title prior to editorial reclassification and renumbering as this section.
