Upon the request of the highest appellate court of a State, the Director of the Government Publishing Office is authorized to designate the library of that court as a depository library. The provisions of section 1911 of this title shall not apply to any library so designated. (Added Pub. L. 92–368, § 1(a), Aug. 10, 1972, 86 Stat. 507; amended Pub. L. 113–235, div. H, title I, § 1301(c)(1), Dec. 16, 2014, 128 Stat. 2537.) Editorial Notes Amendments2014—Pub. L. 113–235 substituted “Director of the Government Publishing Office” for “Public Printer”.
