Any person violating any provision of section 473c–1 of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than $1,000, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both. (Mar. 3, 1927, ch. 337, § 3c–2, as added Pub. L. 86–588, July 5, 1960, 74 Stat. 329.)
