Who's In the Race

Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Lee McInnis will face each other in Alabama's 3rd U.S. House District in 2026. Rogers, the Republican incumbent, won his party's primary on May 19, 2026, taking 83.6 percent of the vote against one challenger. McInnis ran unopposed in the Democratic primary the same day. The general election is scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026.

What They Stand For

Lee McInnis says the economy is unaffordable for working families and favors requiring wealthy Americans to pay a fairer share of taxes. He says Alabama's 3rd District faces severe healthcare shortages, including a lack of hospitals, pediatricians, trauma centers, and maternity services. McInnis says he will not accept money from corporate PACs or PACs representing foreign governments. He also says he will hold town halls so residents throughout the district can question and hold him accountable.

Mike Rogers says he supports closing the nation's borders and protecting unborn children. He says he supports expanding American energy production and policies intended to grow the economy.

The Money Behind the Race

Outside spending in this race totals $3,435 as of Oct. 5, 2026, all of it classified as pending rather than reported as finalized spending. The only committee with activity in the race is Amelia Reese, an individual filer, with $3,435 in pending spending linked to support for Lee McInnis.
