Pennsylvania campaign finance 2026 filings show Rep. Chris Deluzio has built a strong fundraising foundation. The Democrat, who represents Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District in the Pittsburgh suburbs, raised $2.36 million through April 29. Individual donors contributed $1.88 million. Political committees added $430,850. Deluzio carried no candidate loans and reported no outstanding debts, leaving him with $922,859 in cash on hand.

Deluzio has spent $1.79 million of his receipts so far this cycle. Organizational and PAC money made up roughly 18% of his total receipts. He received no party committee contributions in the current cycle, a shift from 2024, when party transfers added about $10,000. His campaign also transferred in $25,417 from authorized committees.

Candidate Rankings

Among Pennsylvania's 2026 congressional fundraisers, Deluzio's total ranks him solidly in the upper tier. Pennsylvania's 2026 federal candidates have collectively raised $558.9 million. Deluzio's haul represents roughly 0.4% of that statewide total. Republican Brian Fitzpatrick leads the state with $5.7 million raised and $7.3 million in cash on hand. Democrat Janelle Stelson ranks second statewide with $4.7 million in receipts and $3.3 million in cash.

Contributors

Political committees contributed $430,850 to Deluzio's campaign in the 2026 cycle. Outside spending groups have also mobilized in his favor. SEIU COPE spent $12,236 supporting the candidate. API PA VOTES contributed $1,132, while People Power Pennsylvania spent $494 and GiveGreen United Action spent $106. Total outside spending in support reached $13,968 across 43 transactions.

Incumbents vs. Challengers

Incumbents in Pennsylvania are generally outpacing challengers and open-seat candidates in the 2026 cycle. Deluzio's own fundraising trajectory reflects that advantage. He raised $3.29 million as a first-time candidate in 2022 and $5.06 million as an incumbent in 2024. Republican candidates statewide raised $30.0 million this cycle, while Democratic candidates raised $28.1 million. The state's 41 Democratic candidates and 21 Republican candidates are competing in a competitive 2026 election cycle.
