Deluzio is set to be sworn in on Jan. 3, 2027, as established by the House Clerk's office. In a September 2026 interview, Deluzio told 90.5 WESA that he wants Democrats to pass legislation to boost manufacturing, address corruption, reduce health-care costs, and establish guardrails for artificial intelligence, reporter Chris Potter reported on Sept. 14.
