Rep. Mary Miller has raised $1.1 million so far in the 2026 election cycle, according to the latest FEC campaign finance report. The Illinois Republican, who represents the 15th Congressional District, reported total receipts of $1,104,318 through March 31, 2026. The bulk of that money came from individual donors at $964,510. Political committees contributed another $113,000. Miller carried over $646,256 from her 2024 campaign, giving her $833,236 in cash on hand. She reported $34,506 in debts owed by her campaign.

Political action committees and other committees account for about 10 percent of Miller's 2026 fundraising. Her campaign reported no loans from the candidate and no contributions from political party committees. Transfers from authorized committees added $25,808 to her total. Her campaign has spent $917,339 so far this cycle, leaving her with a solid cash cushion heading into the general election.

Among all federal candidates running in Illinois in the 2026 cycle, Miller's $1.1 million in total receipts places her in the mix but well below the state's top fundraisers. Illinois's 2026 federal candidates have collectively raised $357 million, and Miller's haul represents less than one-third of one percent of that statewide total. The state's leading fundraisers are pulling in far larger sums. S. Krishnamoorthi leads Illinois candidates with $31,390,858.87 in total receipts, followed by Juliana Stratton at $4,791,273.46 and Katherine M. Abughazaleh at $4,068,879.00. Krishnamoorthi's $3,152,923.15 in cash on hand also exceeds Miller's reserve. Miller's $833,236 cash on hand gives her a strong position for a district that leans heavily Republican.

Contributors

Political action committees and other committees account for approximately 10 percent of Miller's 2026 congressional fundraising in Illinois. Her $113,000 in committee contributions shows modest reliance on organizational money compared to her individual donor base.

Incumbents vs. Challengers

Incumbents in Illinois are generally outpacing challengers and open-seat candidates in fundraising this cycle. Miller's numbers follow that pattern. Democratic candidates in the state have raised a combined $97,804,250.60 across 90 candidates in 2026, while Republican candidates have raised $11,730,337.01 across 32 candidates. Independent candidates have raised $407,878.45 across 3 candidates. Miller's strong cash position reflects the advantages that incumbents typically hold over challengers in the state.

Outside Spending

Outside spending on Miller's race has been minimal so far. The Freedom Caucus Fund spent $653 in support of Miller during the 2026 cycle. No documented opposition spending against her has been reported.
