To promote and encourage historical study and research relating to the adirondack park; to gather and disseminate historical information concerning the park; to collect and preserve ALL documents, books, and objects relating to the region; to maintain an historical museum necessary to carry out the work of the association, through operation of the adirondack museum in blue mountain LAKE.
