The corporation is organized and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, as amended. It expends its funds primarily to support educational programs, institutions, and posts at oxford and elsewhere. These include, but are not limited to, endowed chairs, lecture series, debates and seminars, fellowships and scholarships, and other such programs that enrich the cultural, scientific and literary heritage of the university and its colleges.
