The council is organized and operated exclusively for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes in accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 (or a corresponding provision of ANY future united states internal revenue law, referred to below as the "code"). More specifically, the council is organized to provide education and promote research to facilitate improvements in the supply chain profession.
