The organization OWNS and maintains camping areas and facilities for scout councils to promote the scout program of promoting the ability of young people to do things for themselves and others, training them in scoutcraft, helping them to achieve physical fitness and teaching them appreciation of nature, patriotism, courage and kindred virtues.
