About

The california housing finance agency (calhfa) created the calhfa homeowner relief corporation (the corporation) on april 13, 2021, as a california not-for-profit corporation to implement programs using $1.06 billion in housing assistance funds (HAF) from the u.s. Department of the treasury, under section 3206 of the american rescue plan ACT of 2021 (ARPA). Programs established under HAF are for the mitigation of homeowners' financial hardships associated with the coronavirus pandemic.
