Child mind medical practice, PLLC (the "NY practice") is a physician practice entity affiliated with child mind institute, INC. ("CMI"), a section 501(c)(3) organization. Both the NY practice and CMI are located in new YORK, new YORK. CMI's charitable purpose is to (i) provide physicians, educators, mental health professionals, and parents with the programs, tools, and knowledge needed to promote the mental health of the children and adolescents that they serve, and (II) conduct and support research programs that advance the scientific knowledge, prevention, and treatment of critical mental health problems facing children and adolescents. A fundamental component of CMI's charitable purposes is to provide children, adolescents, and their families with access to clinical services and to conduct research in furtherance of advancing brain science, primarily aimed at developing innovative effective evidence-based treatments and expert diagnosis to improve the mental health of children and adolescents. In support of CMI's charitable purposes, the NY practice employs licensed therapists and clinicians and board certified psychiatrists and (i) provides clinical services to children and adolescents with psychiatric, psychological, learning, emotional, and behavioral (collectively, "mental health") conditions and disorders and their families, (II) conducts educational programming to educate the public, including teachers, healthcare providers, and others, about mental health conditions and disorders, (III) conducts medical and scientific research relating to mental health conditions and disorders and freely shares the results with the global scientific and medical community, and (IV) otherwise supports CMI's charitable purposes, including through media appearances and other public outreach.
