The mission of the children's village is to work in partnership with families to help society's most vulnerable children so that they become educationally proficient, economically productive, and socially responsible members of their communities. The children's village specializes in serving youth who are among the most at-risk in the child welfare and juvenile justice system of new YORK. Each year our agency serves more than 1,000 children in residential programs and approximately 9,000 children and their family members in the community. The children's village has approximately 700 full-time employees, 100 part-time employees, and 500 volunteers. The agency is accredited by the council on accreditation and is also accredited by the better business bureau for meeting ALL 20 standards of charitable accountability.
