To assist children and adults, in aprticular within underserved, multilingual communities with developmental disabilties and/or mental health conditions, and their families to identity, obtain, and maintain resources by: developing and implementing programs to improve their lives and independence, assisting families to supprt their child and complex needs in their own home and community, training community members, students and professionals to provide culturally sensitive care for children and adults with special needs, and conducting ongoing research and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions to enhance program results
