The foundation will further charitable and religious purposes by conducting activities for the benefit of, and performing the functions of, the temple-tifereth israel, "the temple", by holding and investing endowment funds and other funds contributed for the benefit of the temple and making distributions therefrom tothe temple specifically, the foundation's primary activity is the preservation, prudent management, and periodic distribution of a prudent amount of the income and/or appreciation from past and future contributions made for endowment purposes to support the temple.
