The purpose of the deutsche stiftung weltbevoelkerung (DSW) is the promotion of development aid, including but not limited to assistance in the fields of population policy, family planning and related public awareness raising activities. The foundation fulfils its purpose by pursuing the goals of the united nations population fund (unfpa). In this context, it performs the following tasks:(1) fostering demand for, and access to, health information, health supplies, and youth-friendly services, particularly for sexual and reproductive health.(2)advancing the respect and protection of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), with a focus on eliminating gender related discrimination and inequality. (3)empowering young people to make their voices heard in decision-making processes at the local, national, and global levels.(4)enhancing access to socio-economic opportunities for vulnerable young people.
