The purpose of ECOG-acrin medical research foundation, INC. Is to foster clinical research within the public, NON-profit and private sectors for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cancer and other related diseases, including through developing technology to predict prognosis and responses to therapeutic intervention for patients with cancer and other related diseases, that will ultimately improve the outcomes for cancer patients.
