Educare foundation's (educare) mission is to inspire and empower young people to become responsible citizens, compassionate leaders, and to live their dreams. Current programs are designed to empower disadvantaged, at-risk students to achieve excellence in personal, social and academic pursuits through strengthening individual students and their adult support network. Educare effectively provides exemplary transformational education and after school programs for youth and those who support them. Educare seeks to empower youth to be healthy, whole, successful and contributing citizens; and adults to be inspiring and supportive role models. Educare creates environments of caring and self-discovery that help youth realize their full potential. Educare receives funding from individual contributions, federal grants, LOS angeles unified school district funding and other organizational grants.
