The foundation builds on the work of energy futures initiative (EFI), established by ernest j. Moniz, the 13th u.s. Secretary of energy. By convening policymakers, scientists, labor and industry leaders, the EFI foundation identifies pathways to increase energy security, decarbonize the economy and create new jobs. The foundation adheres to the principle of analytical independence. ALL EFI foundation reports, as well as the legacy work of the energy futures initiative, are available at WWW.efifoundation.ORG.
