OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: HHCLA's training and education program provides innovative health education training and technical assistance to homeless shelters, community health clinics, hospitals and community-based providers across Los Angeles County. There are a variety of formats in which we train, in order to provide the best-tailored experience forparticipants. Most trainings come in 3-hour modules that can be delivered in-person or online. Additionally, multiday cohort-based trainings are offered that cover Evidence Based Practices, Human Behavior, Physical Health, Mental Health, Case Management, Substance Use Interventions, and Supervisory Trainings. Training topicsinclude: Behavioral Health, Boundaries & Ethics, Burnout Prevention/Selfcare, Cultural Diversity, Crisis Intervention, Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence, HIPAA Protecting Health Information, Harm Reduction, Housing First, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Trauma Informed De-Escalation,Overdose Prevention, Case Management, and Systems Navigation.Total program expenses were $628,342.
