To investigate, institute prosecution of, and prevent ACTS of cruelty to animals; to acquire, maintain and operate a shelter for stray, homeless, SICK and injured animals; to cooperate, whenever possible, with other humane organizations in promotion of sound and humane legislation relating to animals; and to undertake an educational program for the care and treatment of animals.
