As a supporting organization of the greater kansas city community foundation, the mission of the linscomb foundation is to support programs impacting the lives of children (defined as AGES birth to 18) who through no fault of their own cannot help themselves. Areas of focus are limited to: direct intervention and services to poor and needy children; disabled and/or blind children; and support of education to disadvantaged children. The geographical focus of the charitable giving is limited to the northland of kansas city. Specifically, organizations MUST clearly demonstrate programmatic focus in CLAY and/or platte counties.
