The home is part of the international congregation of the little sisters of the poor, which was founded in france in 1839 & serves the elderly in 31 countries. (see schedule o for continuation)the home, which provides nursing & residential care for the needy elderly, is independently operated and managed by the sisters and independent board of directors of the little sisters of the poor, a catholic religious order.
