To encourage careful selection of individuals coming into the IRON worker trade & to train apprentices who are now in the IRON workers trade; to assist in providing training that will equip them for safe & profitable employment & good citizenship & to further the assurance of qualified IRON workers to the employer to the END that the public may receive the BEST possible work available.
