The foundation's specific and primary purposes are to promote the general welfare of long beach city college by assisting and supporting the attainment of educational, athletic, and cultural goals; by assisting it in fulfilling its role of service to its community, by soliciting, raising, and distributing funds for its programs, buildings, equipment, and ANY other outlay including but not limited to needs for scholarships, loans, and grants to qualified students.
