Longleaf services, INC is organized and operated for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and to carry out educational and benevolent purposes purposes on behalf of the university of north carolina press, INC ("the UNC press"). Such purposes include: supporting the mission and activities of the UNC press by providing fulfillment services for the UNC press and other not-for-profit publishers involved in scholarly publications and support ANY other activities of the UNC press, UPON direction from the UNC press, as DULY authorized by the board of governors of the UNC press.
