The 96-ACRE memphis botanic garden provides an urban oasis in the heart of memphis with over 26 different display gardens and plant collections, its diversity provides the community with year-round recreation, environmental education, tranquility, and natural beauty. The garden, which is the only public botanic garden within a 200-MILE radius, is open daily and offers free memberships to underserved populations to ensure accessibility to ALL. The memphis botanic garden annually serves in excess of 200,000 people of the region, both in the garden and in the classroom. The programs include adult education, youth education and public programs.
