The board operates workforce innovation and opportunity ACT (WIOA) american job center/one stop career centers and connects workers with job openings by developing their skills and referring them to employment opportunities. The board functions as the WIOA fiscal agent by administring fiduciary and compiance support of the workforce AREA. The board prepares the workforce of the future by providing WIOA youth services to young adults.
