Operating under the name MJHS foundation, the mission of this philanthropic organization is to raise the funds necessary to support the charitable health care efforts of MJHS health system and its affiliated agencies. With roots dating back to 1907, when the four brooklyn ladies established the charitable not-for-profit, MJHS has a long tradition of providing care for frail, elderly and at-risk members of the community. Guided by our founding CORE values of compassion, dignity and respect, today MJHS foundation supports programs and services for people of ALL religious, cultural and economic backgrounds as well as gender idenity, sexual orientation and military status.
