About
Helping people with disabilities become full participants in the community; choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize and play. Northeast ARC's services, scope, and demographic AREA have expanded significantly over the past SIX decades. The agency positively impacts the lives of more than 10,000 people each year, serving individuals with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities and/or autism and their families in nearly 200 communities throughout massachusetts with the greatest impact in eastern massachusetts, particularly the north shore region of essex and middlesex counties. Northeast ARC provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to attend public schools, develop friendships, reside in the neighborhoods of their choice, and to EARN a paycheck. Northeast ARC consisted of seven programmatic divisions in FY24: community employment, clinical services, early intervention, autism and specialty ABA services, family services, long term support services, and residential services. Within each division are unique programs that provide a broad scope of services, supports, advocacy, information, and referrals that are responsive to the needs of the individuals and families served.
