Endeavor Health Clinical Operations (EHCO) is part of Endeavor Health, an integrated, healthcare delivery system. On December 5, 2023, NS-EE Holdings was renamed to Endeavor Health and NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) was renamed to Endeavor Health Clinical Operations. Endeavor Health is a Chicagoland-based integrated health system driven by our mission to help everyone in our communities be their best. As Illinois' third-largest health system and third-largest medical group, we proudly serve an area of more than 4.1 million residents across seven northeast Illinois counties. EHCO represents Endeavor Health Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals. EHCO is a Magnet recognized organization, the first in Illinois designated as a system to receive this prestigious honor that demonstrates nursing excellence. The system has a strong history of earning A's in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, recognizing the continuous commitment to patient safety. EHCO also includes the NorthShore Hospitals Foundation and is the primary teaching affiliate for the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Endeavor Health Evanston Hospital Evanston Hospital is a comprehensive acute-care facility offering a variety of surgical specialties. The principal home to the NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center and the Mark R. Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine, Evanston Hospital is also the regional center for high-risk obstetrics. The Infant Special Care Unit and the Women's Hospital offer the latest technology and a highly trained staff. The hospital is a premier Level I Trauma Center in the northern suburbs with a recently renovated and expanded Emergency Department and a Comprehensive Stroke Center as certified by the Joint Commission. During 2024, Evanston Hospital total admissions were 18,357, and total inpatient days were 83,523. Endeavor Health Glenbrook Hospital Glenbrook Hospital is a comprehensive medical center providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, as well as superior medical and surgical care for all specialties. The Endeavor Health Cardiovascular Institute at Glenbrook Hospital, which opened in May 2024, serves as a regional destination for advanced cardiovascular care from diagnosis to rehabilitation. It houses six new cardiovascular-dedicated operating rooms and nine new cardiology labs. Glenbrook Hospital is a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and is also home to a state-of-the art LASIK suite within their Eye and Vision Center. During 2024, Glenbrook Hospital total admissions were 9,280, and total inpatient days were 42,571. Endeavor Health Highland Park Hospital Highland Park Hospital has provided high-quality healthcare and a wide range of clinical programs for the residents of Lake County and beyond since 1918. The hospital is the site of the first open-heart surgery in Lake County and is home to the only dedicated Labor, Delivery and Post-Partum Unit. in Lake County. The hospital is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, providing an acute stroke team 24/7 for rapid diagnosis and treatment, and its Emergency Department also is the region's "pod" hospital for disaster-response activities across Lake County. During 2024, Highland Park Hospital total admissions were 8,533, and total inpatient days were 28,541. Endeavor Health Skokie Hospital Skokie Hospital is home to Illinois' only specialty hospital dedicated to orthopedic and spine care performing more orthopedic surgeries than any other hospital in Illinois. The Endeavor Health Orthopedic & Spine Institute provides advanced care and is designed for both outpatient and inpatient procedures, including joint replacement, fracture care and complex spine surgeries. Skokie Hospital offers emergency and outpatient services to meet the needs of the local community, providing patients access to a vast network of outpatient clinical resources, from multispecialty physician offices to cardiac imaging, radiology and gastrointestinal services, and an Emergency Department. During 2024, Skokie Hospital total admissions were 2,888, and total inpatient days were 9,814. NorthShore Hospitals Foundation In support of the Endeavor Health mission, NorthShore Hospitals Foundation (Foundation) has funded programs and research that continue to transform the field of healthcare. These innovations were made possible by the generosity, time and resources of partners and volunteers. Community-based philanthropy has blossomed in recent years, and its impact on our Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals (Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie) has been dramatic, raising more than $300 million. The Foundation works tirelessly to make sure these critical funds go to work immediately to serve our community and transform lives in very real ways. Honors and Recognition Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals received "A" grades in the Spring 2024 ratings from The Leapfrog Group, a national organization that focuses on quality and safety in American health care. EHCO is nationally named a 2024 Most Wired health system by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. EHCO receives a "Level 9 Quality Award" (out of 10) for both Acute and Ambulatory surveys. Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals were recognized top performers in the 2024 Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Ranking by Vizient, Inc. for demonstrating excellence in delivering high-quality care based on the Vizient Quality and Accountability Study. EHCO earned five stars-the highest possible quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as part of its consumer-oriented Hospital Compare program.
