St. John's Volunteers DBA Brookside Convalescent Hospital provides elderly, indigent and needy Russian-Americans in the San Francisco area with a place where not only may their physical needs be met, but also where options are available to improve their quality of life. Brookside initiates, sponsors, promotes and carries out programs and recreational activities for the benefit of those in the Russian-American community who might not otherwise have access to such services.
