State voices is a NON-profit organization incorporated and located in the district of columbia. State voices was established in 2004 for the purpose of increasing engagement by individuals and organizations in ways that strengthen democratic institutions and encourage public involvement in civic life. State voices connects local, state and national organizations with the tools, training and resources they need to carry out more effective civic engagement. State voices' priority is to work nationally in communities that have been historically underrepresented in the democratic process and engages exclusively in charitable, educational and other nonpartisan civic engagement activities in furtherance of its exempt purposes.
