About

Summit health foundation is a community-based, NON-profit organization formed to support wellspan summit health, the chambersburg hospital, waynesboro hospital and summit physician services and their mission of assuring access to exceptional health care services that are high in quality, compassionate and cost effective. The foundation makes grants to these organizations in order to support them and their related activities. These activities include, but are not limited to:1)furthering the organizations' abilities to expand health services in our community;2)funding the purchase of new clinical and support-related technologies and the construction of health care facilities;3)extending charitable health care to qualifying individuals; AND4)addressing health priorities, including obesity and smoking and tobacco use in our community.
