Grants are made in accordance with the articles of incorporation dated december 21, 1981, as amended. Such articles were amended and restated pursuant to OHIO revised code section 1702.38(d) as of JULY 30, 2014. The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes by conducting or supporting activities related to the joseph s. & jeannette m. Silber hope lodge that are for the benefit of, perform the functions of, or carry out the charitable purposes of the american cancer society.
